Uptown Street Fair

Over 3000 attend the event on Lawrence Street from 9 am to 5:00pm. Local businesses help sponsor the event. The goal of the event is to celebrate the Uptown Historic Business District and neighborhood, offer family fun, showcase great local art with the PT Arts Guild Arts & Crafts Fair as well as music, local food, and The Farmers’ Market. The Port Townsend Main Street Program helps coordinate the event.

9:00am- 2:00pm – Farmers Market Opens & Food Vendors

9:00am – 5:00pm – Port Townsend Arts Guild Arts & Crafts Fair

9:00am – 5:00pm – All Day Outdoor Music

9:00am – 5:00pm – Outdoor Beer Garden hosted by The Uptown Pub

10:00am – 1:30pm –  Children’s art activities coordinated by PT Artscape (Lawrence Street)

2:00pm – The Unbelievable Colorful Yet Brief Uptown Street Fair Parade! (No political or religious entries)

For public safety, Lawrence Street and Tyler Street are closed for the Uptown Street Fair, as well as the Farmers Market location on Polk Street.

Entertainment Schedule

9:00am – Stars of Tomorrow

10:00am – Heard of Cats – performs favorite rock classics and upbeat original songs. Laughingly led by Billy Brennan on guitar and vocals, Linda Silas on conga and vocals, Frank Espy on keyboards and vocals, Paul Geoghan on bass and vocals, and Matt Miner on drums. At the Uptown Street Fair, the Cats will have a guest filling in for Cristian Quroz on guitar. 

11:00am – Ginnie Porter & George Radebaugh – Over the years, Ginnie Porter has been an ever-present vocalist at local venues, she hosted the weekly Jazz and Blues Singers’ Jam at Guadalajara Restaurant. She will be accompanied by pianist/accordionist George Radebaugh.

12:00pm – Intensive Porpoises – a groove infused, energetic & danceable trio: jazzy top 40 jams and mighty overtones of chillaxation

2:00pm – The Unbelievable Colorful Yet Brief Uptown Street Fair Parade!

2:25pm – Unexpected Brass Band – How can we describe the mystery? Why would we describe the mystery?

2:45pm – Afterlife Gift Shop – a psychedelic soft rock craft sweatshirt sales group from Seattle, WA

4:15pm – DJ Lunch Lady – the grooviest spinner in town, serving up beats hotter than the cafeteria’s chili. With a menu packed with funky house, disco, and a side of sass, LunchLady is the ultimate flavor-master, turning any party into a full-blown fiesta. Get ready to dance ’til your lunch money runs out because when DJ LunchLady hits the decks, the dance floor becomes a playground of funky rhythms and tasty tunes. Get ready to boogie down and get funky with DJ LunchLady!
